About Me

Tandra Lepine

Owner of Talks With Tandra / Mental Health Advocate

Hey there! My name is Tandra Lepine. I’m a mental health advocate who shares personal stories, coping mechanisms and resources. I started this page and podcast to start an open conversation about mental health to help break the silence and stigma. Since starting this site, I have toured the East coast of Canada as a motivational speaker, been nominated for CMHA Champion of Mental Health 2019 and 2021, and been part of several awareness videos and interviews for a local organization.

At age 17, I was diagnosed with Major Depressive Disorder, Generalized Anxiety Disorder and Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. Although I was diagnosed at the age of 17, my disorders started forming at a much earlier age. I have faced many hardships and adversities growing up, some still continuing to this day. I am not afraid of speaking about the really hard topics such as being a survivor of sexual and domestic abuse. Throughout my posts and podcast episodes, I will touch base on these subject and many more- while speaking very honestly about my journey while also connecting with others and sharing their stories.

I personally know the struggles and fears of connecting with professionals and one of my goals with TWT is to bridge the gap between your private struggle and getting you the help you need. We all need reassurance and support- I will be that for whoever needs it.

Let’s open up the conversation and talk fearlessly about what no one else will! Thank you for all your support! Please always keep in mind that you are never alone and you matter so very much.

HOPE. Hold On, Pain Ends.
